Last Free Monday...

Obviously I didn't get the picture uploaded, but I have two pictures to show now as I did another cake for my friends son.

With the normal chaos of Christmas...I haven't blogged since last week. But, I will tell you in my next blog about the effort I went to for hubby's gift...

Two steps forward.....one step back.

It's Sunday, I missed church for multiple reasons. I did catch the message though and it was about cheerfully giving. Good message!
Today I'm trying to feel better. My God Daughters birthday cake is waiting for me to decorate it and my energy level just isn't where I want it to be. I'm still going to get that cake done.
I want to sew, but the sewing room is wrecked due to my zeal to go through everything with my friend. Going to have to accept that the money isn't there for the room to paint and gonna have to fill it back up. Sigh. Not a big deal , I don't have to have it, I'm just tired of feeling useless while I recover from my surgery. About 10 more days and I should be better. Fingers crossed X
I'm going to post the cake once I get it done. Her desire is her laptop mixed with zebra. So, she's getting a zebra laptop cake. Cooool!

Well I'm still mostly down in bed surfing the web (hey, that rhymes!) and I realized I was told what to do for the next step in my surrender to Ministry. God told me to get my finances in order. I've been putting that off because I sorta don't want to know where I'm at (hopefully some of you can relate). With Doctor bills and three surgeries this year , it's a little scary. BUT, I'm suppose to do it. SO, I'm gonna jump in today and start. I might not know everything but I'll have an idea where to start.
Dave Ramsey has a great idea to gather all your debt, figure out the smallest then move up from there. I think I can do that. We aren't terribly behind or anything, I just know we need to look at it. I listened to a Pastor on Sunday via the web that says "Give extravegantly" (sp?) You can't give what you don't have, and if you have debt, work on getting rid of it. Makes sense.
I have two weeks left in my recovery from this surgery then it's back to work. It will be good to know what I'm working towards! Off to start.....

Cold December Night...

I'm recovering from a major surgery I had about 3 weeks ago. Just stumbled upon blogs today and I think they are cool. I can do this!
